Landing at Mars (Landing)

The Mars Landing gallery in Mars Hill, North Carolina is a lovely open space which was originally the town roller rink. Miryam Rojas, the founder/director, opened the gallery in the summer of 2021. Almost 20 artists are showing their work at Mars Landing.

How did my work land at Mars Landing?

My friend, Valerie Hoh, an accomplished artist, introduced my work to Miryam. Miryam invited me to place pieces in the gallery. I was excited to do so. I am grateful to Valerie and Miryam for supporting my work. Here’s a link to my work at the gallery.

If you are up in the Mars Hill area stop in at the gallery. It’s the purple building, next to the town library, a block off of Main Street and the cute little downtown of Mars Hill. And, even better, enjoy an ice cream at MeadowSweet Creamery which sells their delicious treats from their shop in the back of the gallery.
